Stage Coach

The Percherons, heavy draft horses originating from France, are used for the heavier work such as hay rides, school groups, church parties, company picnics, parades, fund raisers, etc. Percherons are known as the "gentle giants" of the equine world. Slim and Shorty are no exception to the breed. Their loving demeanor gives a unique appeal to any event. They both weigh just over a ton each, are over 18 hands tall, dapple-gray in color with white manes and tails.

Red Hitch WagonThe red hitch wagon that Slim and Shorty pull is similar to the Budweiser wagon. It is 14 feet long and 6 feet wide and 8 feet tall. With the back step entrance and bench seats along each side of the wagon, it comfortably seats 12-20 people. The size and beauty of the huge gray Percherons in front of this shiny red hitch wagon is spectacular. KOTV-Channel 6, the City of Claremore and the City of Sand Springs are just a few of the customers that frequently use the wagon in their parades, fund raisers and city festivals. This Percheron team is also very popular with children of all ages. It is very endearing to see these gigantic horses lower their huge heads so a small child can touch them on the nose.

1890's Antique Surrey We also have a stunning, antique 1890's model surrey. Its dark green, almost black exterior, shining against the red velvet interior is very eye catching. It has oil lamps that lend a very romantic ambiance to the one seated surrey. This vehicle is perfect for a couple that wants an intimate touch to a memorable evening.
